Melissa Matar (ESR3)
My name is Melissa Matar, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Life Sciences and a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology from the Lebanese University. After graduating from my Master’s degree, I developed an interest in hereditary diseases and was looking for an opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in this domain. Fortunately, I found the perfect opportunity to do that. Thanks to PIPGEN, I am now a PhD student at the department of Clinical Genetics at Radboudumc, Nijmegen where we are working on an easy to apply set of clinical criteria that can be assessed by health care providers in order to better recognize PTEN Hamartoma Syndrome.
